Here Is Your Free Bud Light Update For Philly's Eagles Parade

Bud Light promised, and it looks like they are going to deliver. It's looking more and more like there will be free Bud Light beer at nearly every stop along the parade on Thursday.

Philly Mag reports:

"According to a source directly involved with the logistically complicated — to say the least — operation, which stems from a friendly bet that Anheuser-Busch made with Eagles player Lane Johnson, free Bud Light will be available at nearly all of the bars along the Super Bowl parade route. Earlier, we heard only that the free Bud Light would be available at “multiple” bars, with some reports pegging the number of bars at 25.

“It’s crazy,” the source says of the endeavor. “Thousands of cases are being delivered. Budweiser basically agreed to cover Lane Johnson’s bar tab. Not to give the whole city a bunch of free beer.”

The source adds that there will also be free Bud Light at bars close to — but not directly on — the parade route but declined to give us a list of bars.

“The city doesn’t want a ton of people rushing a bar to get free Bud Light,” the source explains."
