'Roseanne' Roars Back To Stunning Ratings

Despite being off the air for 21 years, Roseanne roared back to TV on Tuesday night -- the one hour premiere on ABC scored 18.4 million viewers, which was even above the show's own series finale back in 1997.

ABC even says that this is the "highest-rated comedy telecast on any network in nearly 4 years", which is huge in and of itself.

The numbers will likely subside a bit, just like they did with Will & Grace (launched with 10 million, down to about 4-5 million on a regular basis now), but even if it dips a little, it's still a huge success for the network.
