We told you that Allison Mack was involved with Nxivm – an alleged sex trafficking cult that was fronting as a “self-help group.” Now we hear she’s been arrested for allegedly being second in command of the organization.
According to an unsealed indictment, the “Smallville” star has been charged with sex trafficking and conspiracy. She stands accused of recruiting vulnerable women into the secret society led by self-help guru Keith Raniere where they were allegedly forced to have sex with him and were branded with his initials. In addition, she allegedly starved them until they fit Keith’s "sexual ideal."
Allison has since entered a 'not guilty' plea in Brooklyn federal court in front of US Magistrate Cheryl Pollack. The judge didn’t release her on bail yesterday, but she might get out if she could offer "significant property" to secure her bail at a future hearing. She’s actually due in court today.
