It looks like Jay-Z and Beyonce’s joint album, Everything Is Love, is going to debut in the Top 2 of the albums chart next week — most likely #1 — but with a lower than expected total. The album is only expected to top the chart with 120,000 total units, which combines physical/digital sales AND streaming. Although the album has three days less in the tracking week because it was released on Monday instead of Friday, it’s still a rather disappointing figure, considering ‘Lemonade’ debuted with 485,000 pure units and 653,000 total units (with streaming included). It's possible that a sign was that the album was premiered on TIDAL, but instead of being at least a one-week exclusive, it was quickly sent to other digital and streaming outlets after only a few days. We will keep you updated.
