Eminem shocked us all on Friday morning when we awoke to a new album from the rapper - Kamikaze, that harkened back to his old days of spitting fire and throwing major shade at many other rappers. The reception was swift, especially on social media, where people were actually POSITIVE about a new Eminem release! It wasn’t too long ago that he put out Revival and people weren’t too happy with the outcome, so it’s nice to see this one putting him back on top where he belongs. Billboard expects the album to at least start with 225,000 equivalent album units its first week, an easy #1 too. Back in 2017, Revival also opened at #1 with 267,000 equivalent album units (197,000 in traditional album sales). The new video for “Fall” was just released today — watch it below. If Kamikaze opens at #1, it would be Eminem’s 8th #1 album.
