Once again going to be honest. I knew Lil Wayne's "Carter V" was going to be a hit but not this huge! I mean dang! This guy dropped "Carter V" and all yes all 22 tracks hit the Billboard. Weezy surpassed Jay Z for most Top 10 entries and tied Drake's record for most songs on the Hot 100 simultaneously (22). This is a massive testament to Wayne's fan power. His fans came out and showed out for Weezy and rightfully so I guess. I mean look at what Weezy went through with his last label executive, brother, father Baby at Cash Money Records. He wanted out of his contract and later had to sue for his money which at the time was 52 million dollars and was recently settled and according to articles connected to these links for about 10 million dollars. You can listen to the single called "Mona Lisa" featuring Kendrick Lamar. They said that Wayne reconstructed parts of the album to give it an updated feel. Some say not just lyrically but musically. It takes you back to when Wayne would drop Hip Hop tracks with Rock guitar riffs and heavy cymbals. It also makes you wonder if Wayne's problems with Baby effect his music. If you listen to this track he is definitely sounding like a free man so to speak. Fans have been waiting literally years for Wayne to drop "Carter V" and he did not disappoint.
