Jenny McCarthy Says Her Time On "The View" Was Miserable

Jenny McCarthy says her time on the ABC gab fest “The View” was not fun, and it was because of veteran journalist Barbara Walters. “The View” co-creator was facing retirement when the former playboy model Jenny joined the daytime talk show in 2013. Jenny claims, in a bombshell new book titled "Ladies Who Punch: The Explosive Inside Story Of 'The View'", that the job, and working alongside icon Walters, was miserable because Walters picked on her and yelled at her. Jenny claims she would avoid Walters when she walked down the hallway, so she wouldn't get scolded. McCarthy, who thought she was brought on to the show as the pop culture and celebrity guru, said Barbara didn’t know any of the younger celebrities Jenny would talk about on the show. Once Walters asked her who Katy Perry was!   As far as Babs backstage behavior, Jenny says that she had never seen a woman yell like that until she worked with Barbara Walters.  Walters has been retired for several years now. Jenny McCarthy has moved on to other things.
