The Mick Jagger news broke over the weekend that The Rolling Stones are postponing their upcoming North American "No Filter" tour because Mick has to get medical treatment. Well, now I know whats wrong….. Sir Mick is set to have a stent placed in his heart this week.
You can be back at work within weeks following the procedure, and maybe in days, according to Google. The procedure will take place in New York City and the 75-year-old Stones front man is expected to make a full recovery. Jagger is in great physical condition, eats well and exercises regularly, but he does have a clogged artery. That's why a stent is warranted.
Last week, Jagger's band mate Keith Richards tweeted "A big disappointment for everyone but things need to be taken care of and we will see you soon Mick, we are always there for you!"
Mick said to his fans: " I will be working very hard to be back on the road as soon as I can. Once again, huge apologies to everyone.”
Good luck Sir Mick.
