Sara Gilbert is saying goodbye to “The Talk.” The creator and longtime co-host of the CBS talk show announced her departure on yesterday’s episode. The current season will be her last.
“This is something that I’ve been struggling with for a while, and going back and forth, but I’ve decided that it’s time for me to leave the show at the end of this season,” she said to a shocked audience. “I obviously love it here, and like I said, this was extremely difficult.”
As for why she’s leaving, Gilbert explained that her life has felt “slightly out of balance.” not only does she want to start acting and producing more, she would like to be able to spend more time with her kids. Understandably, her co-hosts were as upset by the news as the fans – Sharon Osbourne sobbed and all the ladies did a group hug.
