More sad retailer news - two more companies are announcing they're closing 200 stores each.
Forever 21, which announced a bankruptcy a few months ago, is now closing 200 stores. No word yet on which specific stores are closing, but CNN reports that they're attempting to exit most international markets, so it's possible many of the U.S. stores will remain.
Meanwhile, GameStop also announced they're closing 180 to 200 stores nationwide. The company also did not say which locations would close, other than, naturally, the ones on the chopping block are the most underperforming ones. They said the closures will happen "this fiscal year" and that over the next two years, even more locations could end up closing.
