'The View' Co-Host Announces She's Leaving The Show

A ‘The View’ co-host is leaving… but it’s probably not the one you’d expect if you’ve been reading the news. Most casual watchers probably expect Meghan McCain to be the next co-host to leave, but surprisingly, the show is announcing today that co-host Abby Huntsman is actually the one exiting.

PEOPLE revealed as well this week that the star is leaving to help run her father’s campaign for governor of Utah. Abby joined the show back in season 22 (at the start of September 2018), so she’s only been on it for a little over a year. The show is expected to formally announce it on the Monday episode.

Huntsman said in a statement, “Family has always been my number one priority and is where I need to be focused at this time. We are incredibly close and are there to support and help each other when it matters. It’s not often there is a political campaign that involves someone you love and believe in, but this is one of them.”

The show will once again have to find a new co-host for the panel, as it’s been a bit of a revolving door for the past couple of years.

There's been enough drama recently at the show to last a lifetime, as new reports are suggesting that the cast is not even speaking to Meghan McCain anymore offset:
