Ryan Seacrest's Rep Responds to Concerns He Suffered a Stroke During 'Idol'

Ryan Seacrest's rep has updated fans who were concerned that the popular TV and radio host might have had some type of episode, or even a stroke, during last night's finale of "American Idol." When Seacrest came back to the screen at one point, fans noticed he looked a little different with possibly swollen eyes, and was slurring his words a bit. Fans got even more concerned when Seacrest wasn't on "Live With Kelly and Ryan" this morning.

Ryan's rep shared a statement with PEOPLE Magazine this morning:

"Ryan did not have any kind of stroke last night. Like many people right now, Ryan is adjusting to the new normal and finding work-home balance, with the added stress of having to put on live shows from home. Between Live with Kelly and Ryan, American Idol, On Air with Ryan Seacrest, and the Disney Family Singalong specials, he has been juggling three-four on-air jobs over the last few weeks and he's in need of rest. So today he took a well-deserved day off."

Whatever may be the case, we hope he is okay, and gets some much needed rest. Check out video from the show last night below.
