Megan Thee Stallion Gives An Update On Her Highly Anticipated Debut Album

Hotties, get ready — Megan Thee Stallion's debut album is on the way!

In a recent interview with NME, the "Girls In The Hood" rapper gave an update on her highly anticipated LP, explaining that quarantine has enabled her to fully commit to creating the album without distractions.

“When I’m by myself, that’s when my creativity comes to me. The whole album was basically written in the living room, the shower, the backyard – just visualize it with me,” she shared. While Megan didn't go into great detail about the project — she wants it to be somewhat of a surprise for her fans —she did tell the outlet that it’s on the way and is pretty much finished.

The Texas native also seemed to let the cat out the bag that the album will feature a new persona — Megan’s previous projects have introduced new personas like Tina Snow, Hot Girl Meg, and Suga — as she played coy when asked about it, only saying the real answer would reveal the album title.

In addition to new music, Megan also has some fun projects in the works. As fans know, she recently released ‘Girls In The Hood’ merch lines — clothing designed by young black female creatives, and aims to create a more regular scholarship program — which is just the beginning of what she has in store for her loyal followers.

“I don’t wanna say too much,” she teased, “but we got a lot coming.” Meg added that her Hot Girl Sh*t brand would eventually include a variety of different ventures: “A whole big ole brand, whole big ole company – it’s gonna be worldwide, okay? I really want it to be just a plethora of things. [...] I’m really working on my dynasty right now.”
