Netflix Cancels Fan Favorite Show After 3 Seasons!

This is going to be upsetting news to MANY, as this show had a huge online fanbase. Netflix announced this week that "Glow" would not be returning for a season 4 - and it's all due to COVID-19.

What hurts even more for fans is that the show was initially renewed for Season 4 (since August 2019), but now they have decided to reverse that decision. The show was about 3 weeks into filming the new season when the production was suspended in mid-March due to COVID-19. They had completed about one episode. Netflix apparently had tried working on ways to get the show back into production, but it just didn't come together.

Show creators Liz Flahive & Carly Mench said in a statement to Deadline: "Netflix has decided not to finish filming the final season of GLOW. We were handed the creative freedom to make a complicated comedy about women and tell their stories. And wrestle. And now that’s gone. There’s a lot of sh*tty things happening in the world that are much bigger than this right now. But it still sucks that we don’t get to see these 15 women in a frame together again.”
