Well, this website won't solve the problem of fixing that machine, but it will at least give you a heads up on whether it is ahead of time!
24-year old software engineer Rashiq Zahid built McBroken.com, which tracks all McDonald's restaurants to let you know which ones have working ice cream machines and which don't!
And it appears McDonald's is completely on board - the VP of Communications and Government Relations at the company, David Tovar, wrote in a tweet: "Only a true @McDonalds fan would go to these lengths to help customers get our delicious ice cream! So thanks! Se know we have some opportunities to consistently staisfy even more customers with sweet treats and we will."
