I don't think it's a surprise to find out that nearly half of American sports fans would give up one of their other work holidays in order to have a day off after the Super Bowl. The big game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers is this Sunday, February 7th. The Draft Kings survey found that more than 40% would rather work Presidents Day, Martin Luther King’s birthday or Columbus Day than the Monday after the NFL championship game. Wow. It could be another Monday holiday!
And get this.....to get the day off after the biggest NFL game of the year, about one in 10 would even prefer to work Christmas or Thanksgiving! Even more would give up the Fourth of July, New Year’s Day or Memorial Day. The big game is one of the biggest days in America, and we need off the day after!
