Prince Harry Makes a Surprise Appearance at Princess Diana Awards

Prince Harry, in England to honor his mother on what would have been her 60th birthday, made a surprise appearance during the 2021 Diana Awards. The Duke of Sussex, who arrived in the U.K. last Friday for tomorrow’s unveiling of a statue dedicated to Princess Diana, appeared via a video recording to applaud the young recipients of the awards, which are named after he and Prince William's late mother, and honors young people for their social action and humanitarian work.  It will be a very small gathering when he and brother Prince William unveil the statue to honor his mom July 1st. Diana died 24 years ago, on August 31,1997.
