Hootie & The Blowfish Reuniting For New Album & Tour!

The same day that Queen & Adam Lambert announced an official comeback tour, Hootie & the Blowfish did the same! The band announced that they’ll be reuniting in 2019 for their 25th anniversary!

Darius Rucker was on the TODAY Show, and had to say this about getting back together:

“We’re writing songs in the studio, we’re making a new album. We’re not doing it for us. We’re doing it for those people who used to plan their vacations around the Hootie & the Blowfish tour. When we play ‘Hold My Hand’ or ‘Let Her Cry’ or ‘Only Wanna Be With You’…when you hear that crowd, sshhh. I’ll play it every night.”

They hope to have an album out by Summer 2019, and their comeback tour will kick off May 30th, 2019 in Virginia! They'll be hitting our area on June 28th, 2019 at the BB&T Pavilion!
