Google’s 2018 year in review is out, and the top searches vary from unsurprising to a bit shocking! In terms of overall searches globally for the year, the World Cup takes the top spot, followed by Avicci (#2), Mac Miller (#3), Stan Lee (#4), and Black Panther (#5). The top people globally: Meghan Markle, Demi Lovato, Sylvester Stallone, Logan Paul, and Khloe Kardashian.

As for the United States, the top searches were World Cup, Hurricane Florence, Mac Miller, Kate Spade, and Anthony Bourdain overall. The top people were Demi Lovato, Meghan Markle, Brett Kavanaugh, Logan Paul, and Khloe Kardashian.

On the local side, people apparently had no idea where Villanova was, because the top “Where Is…?” search was “Where Is Villanova University?” Hmm!
