Weekend Box Office: "Glass" Takes Top Spot With $47 Million


Our local guy, M. Night Shyamalan had another success at the box office this weekend with “Glass”, the final part of his trilogy, grossing $47 million over the 4-day MLK holiday weekend. It follows “Unbreakable” and “Split” as the final movie in that series. The film stars Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson, Sarah Paulson, and James McAvoy. 

Rounding out the top 5, “The Upside” scored another $18.4 million for a running total of $46.7 million after two weeks, followed by “Aquaman” at $12.6 million ($306.6 million total), “Dragon Ball Super: Broly” with $11.5 million ($21.9 million total), and “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” at $9.8 million ($160.8 million total).
