Philadelphia To Remember Victims of COVID-19 on Tuesday

6ABC reports that the city of Philadelphia will hold events on Tuesday to "reflect on the past year and remember those who've died from COVID-19", in a day of remembrance.

At 12pm, all places of worship will ring bells and also light candles to honor the over 500,000 lives we've lost, including 3,000 in the city of Philadelphia alone.

Mayor Kenney will also be hosting a virtual event today to mark one year since the city was hit with COVID-19 restrictions and their impact on Philadelphia.

Later tonight, buildings in Philly will light up blue to honor frontline workers and first responders.
