Man Appears To Find Shrimp Tails & Weird Strings in Cinnamon Toast Crunch

So here's a weird story for your Tuesday - sometimes weird things get found (or "found") in people's food products that they buy from the store, but this one might take the cake. Jensen Karp is going viral on Twitter after he found... wait for it... two *Shrimp Tails* in his Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal!

Providing photographic proof, Jensen documented the whole thing on his Twitter account:

As his tweet went viral, General Mills, the owner of Cinnamon Toast Crunch, had a conversation with him via DM and then in public tweet. However, this was their response:

"After further investigation with our team that closely examined the image, it appears to be an accumulation of the cinnamon sugar that sometimes can occur when ingredients aren't thoroughly blended. We assure you that there's no possibility of cross contamination with shrimp."

Not sure we can call that "accumulation of cinnamon sugar" when it's most definitely a shrimp tail!

Jensen was not having any of the gas lighting, so he took a closer picture of the evidence and it confirmed that it was most definitely Shrimp Tails, just covered in cinnamon dust!

The story gets even weirder, as Jensen reports finding two small strings in the box as well, along with the shrimp tails.

He also took a look at the other package that his wife had bought, and there appeared to be some type of dental floss-type string in her bag as well.

General Mills then wanted him to send him the shrimp tails to look at, but he said he made sure to keep one as evidence in case anything happened.

His last update was from this morning, where he said he was feeling fine, but also wanted to find out what the black substance on some of the cereal was as well. We'll keep you updated!
