In a surprise twist, The Daily Beast is reporting that Jeopardy! is set to announce not one official new host, but TWO!
After last week's report that executive producer Mike Richards was in "advanced negotiations" to fill the spot, the move comes as a bit of a surprise.
The Daily Beast reports today that Sony Pictures Television is set to announce that Mike Richards will "host the long-running daily syndicated program" and Mayim Bialik, another one of the guest hosts before, "will host primetime and spin-off specials."
What does that mean? They add that Richards will be the host of the daily syndication show, while Bialik will host the new spin-off series, "Jeopardy! National College Championship", on ABC.
Richards had previously come under fire after the news leaked last week for his prior role on "The Price is Right", where multiple models accused producers of discrimination and harassment during his tenure as executive producer.
